Patek Philippe 5980/60G-001 Nautilus

The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980/60G-001 is a men's timepiece that blends elegance and sportiness. It features a classic round 18K white gold case, 40.5 mm in diameter and 12.2 mm thick, with a striking contrast between the polished and satin-brushed finishes on the case and bezel. It is equipped with a screw-down crown and is water-resistant to 30 meters. The crystal is made of sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, and the case back is also made of sapphire crystal, allowing a clear view of the movement. The lustrous grey-blue dial is decorated with a horizontal guilloché pattern, paired with white gold applied baton-style hour markers and round baton-style hands with a white luminescent coating. A 60-minute and 12-hour chronograph subdial is located at 6 o'clock, and a date window is at 3 o'clock. The window bezel is made of white gold and features the Nautilus "40th Anniversary" lettering in Patek Philippe font.

The watch comes with two straps: a hand-stitched denim-patterned grey-blue calfskin strap and a grey-blue fabric-patterned composite strap, both fitted with an 18K white gold Nautilus folding clasp by Patek Philippe.

Internally, it houses the Cal.CH 28-520 C automatic mechanical movement, 30 mm in diameter and 6.63 mm thick, composed of 327 parts and 35 jewels, with a power reserve of 45 to 55 hours. Its balance wheel is a Gyromax with adjusting weights, and the hairspring is a Breguet hairspring, oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and is certified with the Patek Philippe Seal. The movement features a flyback chronograph function, with a central chronograph seconds hand complemented by 60-minute and 12-hour sub-dials, enabling efficient and precise timekeeping.
